Appreciate now

Did you ever notice how when someone dies we all acknowledge their good points and even as we admit their bad ones we realise that deep down they were a decent person. It is sad that it takes sometimes a death for someone to value a life.

We all have people in our lives right now that though their habits can drive us mad or their personality can sometimes be a strain we truly are very attached to them. The sad thing is that this is very often not properly voiced and instead we wish to just change them slightly every day. This never works and so we do not truly value them while they are here.

It is only when they are gone or nearly gone that we then begin to conceive the contribution that they make to our lives Then it can almost be too late.

So today, forget about the annoying habits and undone chores. Concentrate on their good points and make yourself some precious memories. Appreciate people here and now not in a future they may not be here to enjoy.
